The National Center for Adaptive Neurotechnologies is one of 24 Centers for Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering supported by the National Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Bioengineering (NIBIB) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). NCAN activities are also supported by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the NIH National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), the NIH National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, and the New York State Spinal Cord Injury Research Board (SCIRB).
